Dodecyl vinyl ether (DDVE) is a colorless liquid organic compound with the chemical formula C14H28O that is primarily used in the production of polymers and copolymers. It is used as a raw material for coatings defoamers, waxes, lubricants, pigment additives, and vinyl homo- and copolymers. DDVE is also a reactive diluent for epoxy silanes and silicon acrylate-based release coatings.
